  • ( 4 medium) Desiree potato, peeled
  • ( 5 medium) Peeled carrot
  • ( 3 cup) Green peas, frozen then boiled or microwaved, drained
  • ( 3 medium) Brown onion, raw and peeled
  • ( 1 1/2 tbsp) Olive oil
  • ( 3 cloves) Raw garlic, peeled
  • ( 5 tsp) Low-salt/no-added-salt tomato paste
  • ( 400 ml) Tomato puree commercial
  • ( 300 ml) Tap water
  • ( 1 tsp) Iodised table salt
  • ( 1/2 tsp) Ground black pepper
  • ( 1 cube) Stock powder dry or cube


  1. Cut the onions, potatoes, carrot, and garlic into small pieces. Set aside.
  2. In a pan, add the oil and fry the onions and garlic until golden.
  3. Add the carrots to the cooked onions. Stir well until softened.
  4. Add the potato and peas. Continue stirring until all vegetables are tender.
  5. Add the salt, pepper, Vegeta, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water
  6. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes, until fully cooked.
