Ingredients

  • ( 4 medium) Skinless Chicken Breast
  • ( 1/3 cup) Fish Sauce
  • ( 1/2 cup) White Vinegar
  • ( 1 tsp) Black Pepper
  • ( 1/4 tsp) Iodised Table Salt
  • ( 1 medium) Brown Onion
  • ( 4 cloves) Garlic
  • ( 1 tbsp) Caster Sugar
  • ( 4 tbsp) Salt Reduced Tomato Sauce
  • ( 2 tbsp) Vegetable Oil
  • ( 1 1/2 medium) Desiree Potato

Method

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken pieces until golden brown on both sides, then remove. Stir in the onion and garlic.
  2. Put chicken back into pan. Cook until they soften and brown. Pour in vinegar and soy sauce approximately 6 minutes).
  3. Dissolve ketchup into 1 cup water. Pour into pan with black pepper and salt. Add potato, increase the heat to high, bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, simmer until the chicken and potatoes is tender and cooked through.
